I founded Bloom in 2006 to help entrepreneurs and business leaders organise, document and finance their growth strategies.

An entrepreneurial expertise

After graduating in 1992 from HEC business school (France’s leading business school), with a major in Finance, I successfully created and developped two BtoC companies in Paris from 1994 to 2002 : à la Carte, a multi-restaurant delivery service pionneer to Deliveroo and Foodora, and 1001 Listes, an online multi-store wedding list service.

With an initial capital of 15.000€ borrowed from our parents at the age of 23, my partner and I developped à la Carte into a local business reaching 2M€ sales in 2001, with 2.500 active customers (private and corporate) and 40 employees.

Alongside, I partnered with a business school friend in 1999 to create 1001 Listes, for which we raised 1M€ in 2000.

Entrepreneurs and leaders need help for (good) business plans

In 2005, I helped a friend who owned a local business and needed a Business Plan to seize an opportunity to raise funds. She was overloaded with work and was spending her evenings working on Word, Excel and Powerpoints documents, and couldn’t get done with it.

Together, we finished very persuasive and reassuring documents and financial scenarios within 5 weeks, with which she managed to sollicitate many potential investors.

Investor documents are key in the process of raising funds, selling a company, or making a decision for an investment. They are often assigned to junior staff members, and take time for day-to-day operations (or family life) – most often with a disappointing final result

I realized that I could bring my entrepreneurial experience, my storytelling and financial skills to many entrepreneurs and leaders, and decided to specialise in this activity by creating my company, BLOOM
